In another 10 years stint with Wipro GE Medical Systems Ltd, he rose from Branch Manager to Vice-President. He served in all the focus regions of India and made a significant contribution to viable diagonistic technology investments with Indian hospitals.   He joined Manipal Group as CEO of Manipal Hospital and Heart Foundation in April 2002. Under his able guidance, Manipal Hospital was ranked as the "Best Hospital" in Bangalore. He is also a member of the Executive Council of the Manipal Group. He is working on two simple concepts - to make Manipal Hospital the friendliest hospital in the country and to introduce international standardization on all procedures and activities in the hospital.   In 2005, Manipal Hospital was awarded the 'The Golden Peacock award' by the Institute of Directors, a leading Global organization. This was the Golden Peacock National Quality award, which was recognized under his leadership.
