The award was presented by Infosys Chief Mentor NR Narayana Murthy and Paul Ostling, Chief Operating Officer Ernst & Young Global, at the award ceremony held in New Delhi last evening. Recognized globally, the award honours outstanding entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership, and achievement. Dr Pai conceptualized, articulated and implemented the Global Delivery Model of Education at Manipal. He was selected as a finalist for his role in globalizing Indian education and contributing to the healthcare needs of the community. Speaking on his achievement, Dr. Ramdas Pai said, “This award is an honor for Manipal, and for the values we embody.
