Prof. Kiat Ruxrungtham is one of Thailand’s leading researchers and the Associate Dean for Research Affairs of the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. In this position he works with key research players in the region and he leverages Southeast Asian expertise and competitiveness for international research. Prof. Ruxrungtham is the Deputy Director of HIV-NAT, Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre in Bangkok, a leading HIV research organization and a pioneer in ICH-GCP research in the region. Prof. Ruxrungtham helped this research centre grow to a team of 100 researchers and obtained research funding from major industry and US National Institute of Health.
Prof. Ruxrungtham serves on advisory and review committees for the Thai Government (Ministry of Education and Ministry of Public Health) .Prior to his current positions, Prof. Ruxrungtham led the Department of Allergy and Immunology of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. Prof. Ruxrungtham has 111 publications to his name in the field of HIV/AIDS, allergy and immunology.
Prof. Ruxrungtham completed his MD from the University of Chiangmai, Thailand . He did post graduate training in internal medicine under a fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. He was a guest researcher at NIAID, US NIH and John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore from 1988-1993. |

Dr. Sakorn Suksriwong is a prominent Thai business man serving on the Board of Directors of multiple local and regional companies in the fields of telecommunications, education, hospitality, and investment. Dr. Suksriwong is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok First Investment & Trust Public Company Limited and President of Prida Pramote Co., Ltd., a computer systems integration company.
Dr. Suksriwong was an advisor to several Thai ministers and deputy ministers throughout his career as well as to the Economic Committee of the Thai House of Representatives. Given his prominent position in the Thai business community, he serves as Director on Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI). Dr. Suksriwong is a special lecturer with the Faculties of Commerce and Accountancy of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok and Chiangmai University. He serves on the Board of Directors and is the General Manager of Phufa, an Occupational Incentive Project under the Initiation of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand. He serves as board member on many charitable initiatives in Thailand. For his service to the country he received two Thai Royal Decorations.
Dr. Suksriwong received his undergraduate degree in banking and finance from Chulalongkorn University, his masters degree in International Business from The George Washington University in Washington D.C, and his doctoral degree from the University of South Australia, In addition, Dr. Suksriwong is a graduate of the advanced management program of Harvard University. |

He has experience in leveraging Asian competitiveness building successful global business in medical technology for GE and software for Wipro. As Exec Chairman of the Manipal Group, his focus was on developing a research thrust for the Group. Considered a thought leader in Health care and Life Sciences, he has worked in global leadership positions in GE and was Vice Chairman of Wipro. He serves on the board of various Pharma companies and Research institutes.
Prasanna is acknowledged in the healthcare sector as the pioneer in creating a market for high tech. medical equipment and delivering clinical excellence at low patient fees in Asian Hospitals, through innovative strategies. As the startup CEO of GE Medical in India, he also developed a $330 m Global Business in healthcare for GE Medical Systems (GEMS) by leveraging India's competitiveness taking the company from no 5 to No 1. He has also been a founding member of Wipro's team that initiated the company's entry into IT and was Vice Chairman of Wipro Ltd.
He is an independent Director of Take Solutions Ltd. He serves on the Governing Council of Center for Policy Research, India's leading Think Tank and of T A Pai Management Institute, a reputed Business School. He is a Trustee on Shriram Ownership Trust, which shapes the strategy of Shriram group of companies. He has served as Chairman of GEBEL, GEMS IT Ltd and GE X-Ray(South Asia) and Director of GE Yokogawa Medical Systems Ltd, Japan and GE Samsung Ltd, Korea, Wipro GE Medical Systems Ltd, India and Shasun Chemical & Drugs Ltd India. He brings rich experience in pharma and healthcare.

Mr. Mukund Rao is a chemical engineer who completed a Bachelor’s in chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and Master of Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is currently the Managing Director for KSL Chemicals Co., Ltd., Bangkok, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Khon Kaen Sugar Industry Public Company Ltd, Thailand’s only listed Sugar Industry Group.
With more than 30 years experience in chemical and engineering industry, he has held senior management positions in various organizations. Prior to his current position, Mr. Rao has been the Managing Director of OMG (Thailand) Co, Ltd, Managing Director of Thai Oleochemicals Co, Ltd, Vice-President of Imperial Industrial Chemicals (Thailand) Co., Ltd, and the Director of OMG Automotive Catalysts (Thailand) Ltd. Mr. Rao joins us as a Director with entrepreneurial expertise, numerous start-ups, and the rapid growth of companies to his credit.

Director
Eugène has several years experience in clinical research in Southeast Asia, both as a clinical researcher designing and leading multi-center clinical trials and as CEO of a midsized regional CRO. In addition he has practiced clinical medicine in Europe (the Netherlands), Thailand and the US.
Eugène received his medical training at the University of Amsterdam and worked as a clinical trials physician in the University before being stationed in Bangkok in 1996 to establish a multilateral HIV clinical research organization that is flourishing to date. HIV-NAT is a UNAIDS collaborating center, and a site mentioned in the Lancet as ‘a good example of a three-continent collaboration in clinical trials and patient care. Most of his 11 peer reviewed research publications date from this period.
In 2000 he pursued family medicine training in Hawaii, USA and following his training contributed to the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative in South Africa and Tanzania in rolling out large scale access to antiretroviral therapy.
After being in the lead at a Native Hawaiian Community Health Center on Kaua'i between 2004 and 2007, Eugène returned to Thailand in 2007 to establish the regional office of a European CRO and leads a team with up to 14 years experience in quality clinical research in Southeast Asia.
Eugene is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, has provided Expedited Adverse Events training for D-AIDS (US NIH) globally and is a regional speaker on clinical research topics. He lives in Bangkok. |
