Dr Kohkan Shamsi, MD, PhD, a member of the Board of Directors of AcuNova Life Science Ltd, UK and a Scientific Advisor to the company, will be addressing the 3rd Annual Pharma and Biotech leaders summit in Florida. About Dr Kohkan Shamsi, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Shamsi brings extensive experience in Drug Development of dignostic agents and Bio-imaging markers in clinical trials. He has worked in leadership positions in Diagnostic Imaging Strategic Business Unit at Schering AG, Berlin, Germany and in the Diagnostic Imaging and Radiopharmaceuticals Business Unit, Clinical Operations and medical development at Berlex Inc., NJ, USA. He has launched several products and has been a thought leader with FDA and EU regulators in the last decade.. He has mentored the development of imaging-CRO's (I-CRO) in this emerging field. Dr. Shamsi is an MD in Radiodiagnosis from Aligarh Muslim University and a Ph.D from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Dr. Shamsi has published over 90 papers in indexed journals. Dr. Shamsi has conceptualized, coordinated, and executed over 25 multi-center, international clinical trials (phase I - phase III) to develop new contrast agents for oncology imaging, CNS, Magnetic Resonance Angiography and cardiac imaging. He has also submitted many NDAs in Europe, USA and Japan.

Dr. Shamsi is a member of Radiological Society of North America and International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine. He is also a member of North American Society of Cardiac Imaging and Indian Radiology & Imaging Association.
