The conclave will focus on thedeveloping trends in the rapidly growing pharma/ biotechnology market,while a panel comprising prominent industry leaders will examineissues from the perspectives of the industry, government and research.   The panel will comprise Dr Vijayaraghavan (Director, NCBS), Dr KiranMazumdar Shaw (CEO, Biocon), Harpal Singh (Chairman, FortisHealthcare) as well as D A Prasanna, Vice Chairman and ManagingDirector, Manipal AcuNova.   The key objective of the Conclave is to explore the opportunities indrug discovery and clinical development, while highlighting the challenges faced by industry and the regulatory framework. Awarded by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), the award is in recognition of her pioneering contributions to the field of biotechnology.   Manipal AcuNova is a joint venture between Manipal Education and Medical Group and cuNova.
