Press Releases   Media Coverage     MEDIA COVERAGE   Kal Chatto to be awarded the FIP Distinguished Service Award   Mr. Kal Chatto, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Acunova Life Sciences Inc., is being awarded the "FIP Distinguished Service Award" by the International Pharmaceutical Federation( FIP) in recognition of his exceptional and distinguished contribution to FIP. The award will be presented on September 4, during the opening ceremony of the 2005 FIP Pharmacy World Congress in Cairo, Egypt. Recognized globally, the award honours outstanding acheivers who inspire others with their vision and leadership.   The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is a global federation of national organizations of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists dedicated to improving the access to, and value of, appropriate medicine use, and contributing to changes in science, practice and health policies worldwide.   Previously, Kal Chatto was with Amgen Inc for over sixteen years where he served in diverse leadership capacities including Marketing, Training, Western Regional Business Division, Corporate Accounts and Medical Affairs/Professional Services. He was recruited from Glaxo Inc. Senior Management Team in 1988 to be one of the first 9 Amgen business development and commercialization executive leaders. He has over 24 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech fields, and serves on the boards of leading professional organizations and key pharmacy schools of prestigious U.S Universities.   Go back to media coverage
