He was instrumental in establishing the Department of Biotechnology to undertake graduate and post-graduate programs in biotechnology, molecular biology and genetics at Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal.   Prior to joining Manipal he was a senior scientist, at The Wistar Institute, Philadelphia. He has published over 60 full research articles in international journals and over 10 review articles and book chapters. Dr. Satyamoorthy has to his credit one US and International patent and two are under consideration on aspects of cancer.   > next
